Viktoriya Tomova won a prestigious victory at the WTA 1000 tournament in Indian Wells.
In the first round, Tomova defeated 6:4, 7:6(5) Sofia Kenin (USA) who won the 2020 Australian Open. In the next round, Bulgaria’s best female tennis player will face Caroline Garcia of France (Singles Rank 26).
This is Viktoria Tomova’s third victory at a WTA 1000 tournament.
