Grigor Dimitrov reaches round of 16 at Wimbledon

Grigor Dimitrov scored a three-set victory (6:3, 6:4, 6:3) against Gaël Monfils from France on his way to the fourth round of Wimbledon. Thus, for the second year in a row, he reaches this phase of the tournament.

The Bulgarian handled his 37-year-old rival with ease and the match lasted just one hour and 47 minutes. This is Grigor Dimitrov's second win over Gaël Monfils in a total of six matches. In the next round, his opponent will be Russian Daniil Medvedev or German Jan-Lennard Struff.
