Bulgarian students win 9 medals from Physics Olympiads in Iran and Georgia

Bulgarian students have won five medals at the International Physics Olympiad in the city of Isfahan, Iran - one silver and four bronze. 198 participants from teams of 46 countries took part in the competition. 12th grader Bayan Gechev from the "Paisiy Hilendarski" High School of Mathematics won the silver medal.
A day before they left for Iran, Bulgaria’s students returned from the European Physics Olympiad in Georgia with four medals – one silver medal and three bronze medals in an competition of 54 countries. The silver medal once again went to Bayan Gechev.
Next year, Bulgaria will host the European Physics Olympiad, which will be held in Sofia.
