Two Spanish aircraft to join efforts to extinguish the wildfire in Mount Slavyanka on the border with Greece

A new flare-up of the big wildfire on the Greek side of Slavyanka mountain has crossed the border into Bulgaria, extending the perimeter of the fire over 120 hectares of Bulgarian territory. Heavy bulldozers are making wide clearings so as to contain the fire, said Plamen Poyukov, director of Katuntsi state forestry service.
