The ten new metro stations of the Sofia metro will be finished in 2027, said Sofia Mayor Vassil Terziev who inspected the extension of the third line. 46% of all passengers who travel every day use the underground, he said. “I am very pleased with the progress in the development of the metro,” Mayor Terziev said.
Vassil Terziev stated further that Sofia is going to be a modern European city with cleaner aid. “Every residential district matters and is soon going to have a fast and easy connection with the other part of the city. The metro is the key to having fast and modern connectivity throughout the entire city,” he said.
