Bulgaria and Spain discuss their cooperation in Antarctica

A seminar titled ''Science in Antarctica - Bulgaria and Spain in Antarctica'' will be held today at the Egg Hall of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". The Bulgarian Antarctic Institute said that the seminar aims to present the origins, development and current state of the excellent bilateral cooperation on scientific and logistical matters in Antarctica that Spain and Bulgaria have been developing for more than thirty years.

The scientists will also explain why research in this field is vital to better manage the environmental challenges facing the planet. The event will be held in 3 working languages - English, Spanish and Bulgarian with simultaneous translation.
