Forum in Burgas focuses on condition of the Danube and the Black Sea

A conference on the topic of "From the source of the Danube to the Black Sea - healthy water and a healthy life" is held in the Burgas Free University. Participants will focus on innovative and nature-based solutions for the protection of water basins and the communities that live near them. Pollution and physical changes in river basins and coastal zones, as well as ways to restore river and marine ecosystems are among the key discussions.

The forum is organized by the European Commission, the Ministry of Environment and Waters and Burgas Free University.
