Burgas hosts 146th anniversary celebrations of Bulgarian Navy

Burgas will host celebrations marking the 146th anniversary of the Bulgarian Navy, BNR Burgas reported.

A military wreath-laying ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. today at the Sailor’s Monument in the Sea Garden. That evening, the Navy’s Representative Brass Band will perform at 7.30pm on the 'Snail' open-air stage in front of the cultural centre, also in the Sea Garden.

From 9–10 August, the frigate Verni and the minehunter Mesta will be open to the public at Burgas’s Sea Station.
