Scientists discuss the history and perspectives of the Western Outlands

The Institute for Historical Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences is organizing today a scientific conference on the topic "The Western Bulgarian Outlands - History and Perspectives" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Founding Congress of the Organization of Refugees from the Western Outlands. Together with the main topic, issues related to the past of the Bulgarian community within the borders of today's Republic of Serbia will also be discussed at the forum. The Day of the Western Bulgarian Outlands - November 8, will also be marked.
