The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan has imposed temporary restrictions on the import of certain goods from some regions of Bulgaria and Croatia due to ruminant diseases in both countries, BTA reported, citing local media.
The restrictions are based on official data from the World Organization for Animal Health.
Plague of small ruminants has been detected in the Kardzhali region, and bluetongue has affected animals in the Smolyan and Blagoevgrad regions of Bulgaria, Azerbaijani media reported.
