Two very important procedures depend on the election of president of parliament. Talking to reporters, Vice President Iliana Iotova said that if a president of the National Assembly is elected, then a national budget can be submitted and the president will be able to start handing the mandates for the formation of a government. The Bulgarian vice president stated further that whether the parliament will survive is up to the political parties.
Iliana Iotova stated that the siggestion to start consultations with the president on the formation of a cabinet before a president of the National Assembly is elected as unrealistic.
