The value of the small consumer basket in Bulgaria has not changed in a year

Butter and vegetable oil are the products that have increased in price the most over the year. The retail price of vegetable oil will range between 3 and 5 BGN (EUR 1.5-2.5) per liter until the new harvest.
The value of the small consumer basket, which includes 27 essential products, remains unchanged compared to 2023. It amounts to 98 BGN (EUR 49.6), the Chairman of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets, Vladimir Ivanov, said in an interview with BNR. With a careful selection of the products in it, the basket can even be more affordable.
