There is no risk of pollution of the Black Sea in the area of the Bulgarian exclusive economic zone from the oil spill in the Kerch Strait, after the incidents with two Russian tankers there. This is what Flotilla Admiral Prof. Kalin Kalinov, Rector of Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna said, BNR correspondent in the city, Daniela Stoynova, has reported.
The academy has been conducting daily monitoring in connection with the environmental problem in the Kerch Strait. "Currently, the climatic conditions are favorable for Bulgaria. The spill exists, but we have no concerns that it could spread to territories under our jurisdiction," Kalinov said.
