The second procedure for the election of a president of the Supreme Administrative Court has been terminated because there have been no nominations.
The Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) made this decision unanimously, and it is not clear when a third procedure for the election of a head of this key judicial institutions might take place. At their last sitting for the year, the members of the SJC will also consider a report by the civic movement BOEC with allegations of crimes committed by acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov who is the sole candidate for prosecutor general of Bulgaria.
The report is expected to be sent to the special prosecutor for investigating the prosecutor general and his deputies.
