Several civil associations from the towns of Lom and Kozloduy are organizing a protest and a car rally today against the poor state of the roads in Northwestern Bulgaria, specifically the Lom-Kozloduy road, which is used daily by many people from Lom who work at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant, reported BTA.
The organizers of the protest point out that it is not linked to any political party and has no political demands. The only demand is for safe and reliable roads in Northwest Bulgaria. Lom Municipality says that the protest has been authorized by Mayor Tsvetan Petrov and the car rally will be escorted by the police.
