Folk music from Guizhou to be performed in Plovdiv Regional History Museum

The Regional History Museum in Plovdiv is hosting the performance “Hear the Voice of the Mountains and Springs – The Year of the Snake Gives Us Prosperity” today. In it, actors from the Guizhou Lantern Theater will show the rich cultural heritage and artistic charm of ethnic minorities in the Chinese province through traditional folk songs and dances.

Guizhou – located in the interior of southwest China, is one of the provinces with the largest number of ethnic minorities in the country and has a rich ethnocultural tradition. Its population has created numerous literary and artistic works.
