Vice President Iotova: The postponement of the euro area convergence report is not fatal

The postponement of the request for a convergence report on Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone is not fatal. It is more important to achieve stability in governance, finance and the economy, Vice President Iliana Iotova said. She participated in the traditional vine pruning and wine festival in the village of Delchevo (Gotse Delchev Munisipality).

In her opinion, the issue of the budget deficit, which is important for Bulgaria’s entry into the Eurozone, is currently being used more for political confrontation. She expects the government to soon present an analysis that will clarify the real financial situation of the country.
