Bulgarian identity card selected best ID card in Europe at prestigious exposition in Switzerland

The Bulgarian identity card won first place for best ID card in Europe for 2024 at the High Security Printing EMEA-2025 conference in Basel, Switzerland, the Interior Ministry has announced.
Besides for modern and aesthetic design, the Bulgarian identity card was also lauded for its modern inbuilt protection, as well as for the digital biometric data and electronic identity.
