Employees of Bulgaria's State Railways detained for diesel fuel theft

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has detained about 20 people - some of whom worked for the Bulgarian State Railways, for large-scale theft of diesel fuel in a specialized operation in the area of ​​the Karnobat railway station.
It was established that the theft was committed from a diesel tanker owned by Lukoil - Bulgaria, by draining it with fire hoses into improvised containers. The seals with which the tanker was secured were unsealed and subsequently restored to close to their original appearance. According to the data so far, the drained diesel is between 6 and 7 tons.
The operation continues. Numerous procedural and investigative actions are being carried out, including searches and seizures from cars and private homes.
