Three Bulgarians accused of spying for Russia in UK have been found guilty

Three Bulgarian citizens accused of spying for Russia in the UK have been found guilty, BGNES reports.
Katrin Ivanova, 33, Vanya Gaberova, 30, and Tihomir Ivanchev, 39 were part of a spy group and received instructions from Austrian national Jan Marsalek to carry out surveillance of a US military base as well as certain individuals on behalf of Russia in the period from 2020 until 2023. Two other members of the group – Orlin Roussev and Biser Dzhambazov – admitted to being part of the group before the start of the trial. The sixth defendant, also Bulgarian, Ivan Stoyanov, has also pleaded guilty, BNR’s correspondent in London Vesselin Paunov reports.
