Due to a national transport strike in Italy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that Bulgarian citizens temporarily or permanently residing in Italy carefully plan their trips, if possible to plan alternative routes and means of transport and to monitor current information on flight and train schedules.
A national 24-hour strike of employees in ground handling companies has been announced in Italy on March 16, organized by the FLAI Trasporti e Servizi union. The strike will affect all Italian airports.
Hourly strike actions by employees of the company Techno Sky, specializing in the management and maintenance of technological air traffic control systems in Italy, are also planned. The protests continue in various transport companies until Tuesday, March 18.
