Two victories and three losses for Bulgaria at the European Women's Individual Classical Chess Championship

Viktoria Radeva defeated Ines Prado (Spain) and, with 4.5 points, temporarily occupies the 27th position. Antoaneta Stefanova won against Marija Zvereva from Monaco, breaking her streak of three consecutive losses.

Nadya Toncheva, Beloslava Krasteva and Andzhelika Nenova, however, lost their games to Nino Batsiashvili (Georgia), Sabrina Vega Gutierrez (Spain) and Narmin Abdinova (Azerbaijan).

All five Bulgarian chess players played with the black pieces.
