Grigor Dimitrov qualifies for round of 16 in Monte Carlo

Grigor Dimitrov had to play a three-set match against the 255th in the world Valentin Vacherot, but in the end he managed to qualify for the third round of the Masters series tournament in Monte Carlo with a prize fund of 6.1 million euros. The Bulgarian tennis player prevailed over the wild card representative of the hosts with 4:6, 6:3, 6:1.

In the round of 16, Grigor Dimitrov will face Alejandro Tabilo from Chile, who brought the surprise of the tournament, winning 6:3, 6:4 against Serbian Novak Djokovic. Last year, the Bulgarian won both his matches against his rival for a place among the eight best in Monte Carlo.
