Bulgaria wins two silver medals at the World Boxing Cup 2025 in Warsaw

Bulgaria won two silver medals at the World Boxing Cup 2025 in Warsaw. European vice-champion Zlatislava Chukanova earned a silver medal in the women’s 51 kg category after a match against Pihla Kaivo-Oja (Finland), who placed fifth at the Paris Olympics.

European junior champion Viktorio Iliev claimed silver in the 65 kg category. He lost the gold medal match to the reigning Olympic and world champion Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev (Uzbekistan).

Later in the evening session, Bulgaria’s European champion Rami Kiwan will face Fazliddin Erkinboev (Uzbekistan) in the 75 kg category.
