Our two countries have an important role in the connectivity between Europe and Asia through the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor. This is what President Rumen Radev said during the plenary talks between the delegations of Bulgaria and Uzbekistan. The Bulgarian head of state is on an official visit to Uzbekistan.
Bulgaria is strongly tied to the development of this corridor as a country on the western coast of the Black Sea with developed ports and the second busiest border in the world – that between Bulgaria and Turkey, the President said.
"We have agreed on a lot of things and we have very good relations. Our economies will not compete with each other, but will enrich each other if we properly develop our relations," President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, said.
