Ships from Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania will conduct anti-mine patrols in the Black Sea

From June 11 to 26, 2025, the fifth mission of the Naval Mine Countermeasures Group "MCM BLACK SEA" is being carried out in the Black Sea. Warships from Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey are participating in the action, which began from Burgas, BGNES reported.
The exercise "MCM BLACK SEA" aims to increase the level of training and interoperability between the naval forces of the participating countries.
The detection and neutralization of sea mines are being practiced, as well as the conduct of joint actions in response to threats to freedom of navigation and safety in the region.
The initiative is part of the efforts of the allied countries to strengthen security in the Black Sea region and maintain a stable environment for maritime transport and trade.
