The first Bulgarian project has received strategic status under the EC's Net Zero Emissions (NZIA) Regulation. The innovative project "BG EXERON X-BESS" in the field of batteries and energy storage technologies has already been entered into the European Commission's public register of strategic projects.
This is one of a total of six projects selected from across Europe, the Ministry of Economy and Industry announced.
At a meeting with Alexander Rangelov, CEO of the company that developed the project, Minister of Economy and Industry Petar Dilov emphasized that the project is an important step towards including Bulgaria among European producers of environmental technologies and the implementation of high-tech solutions to overcome climate change.
