Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad secured their place in the second qualifying round of the Champions League by narrowly beating Dinamo Minsk 3-2 on aggregate.
Rui Mota’s team won the first leg 1–0 at home, but then lost 2–1 in the second leg in Belarus. With the tie level after 90 minutes, the match went into extra time.
Substitute Eric Bile capitalised on a goalkeeping error in the 100th minute to score the decisive goal and seal Ludogorets' progression.
In the next round, they will face Croatian team Rijeka.
Under UEFA’s revised competition format, eliminating the Belarusian champions guarantees Ludogorets a place in the Europa Conference League play-offs, even if they are knocked out in a later Champions League qualifying round.
