Bulgarian band Etherea are making their mark with a bold debut single, 'Ayde Mome da Begame' ('Come on, girl, let's run away'), a reimagined version of the traditional folk tune 'Kate, Kate, kalesh Kate', drawing inspiration from a version by Asen & Milena Group.
Fusing folk roots with a modern edge, the rich, layered track pulses with energy, giving each of the four band members their moment to shine. The line-up includes: Jay Dishliev on electric guitar, Kaloyan Paunov on bass, Simona Stanoeva on vocals and Tsvetelin Ivanov on drums.
'Ayde Mome da Begame' isn't just a rework — it's a mission statement. It is a sonic manifesto from Eterea that says: 'Leave behind the noise and the daily grind — come with us and make art! Now, while we’re young and full of fire.”
It's an invitation to take flight together through music that combines Bulgaria's folk heritage with a contemporary groove and attitude. This is tradition with distortion. A shared escape. It's a raw, modern folk journey that hits you in the chest and gets your feet moving.
