US guarantees the airworthiness of military aircraft delivered to Bulgaria

The US guarantees that the eight fighter jets are airworthy and they will be able to fulfil their mission. This was what Susan Falatko, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim at the U.S. Embassy, told "Nova TV". The reason for the statement was the case with the technical problem that emerged after the arrival of the first F-16 jet from the US.

"After the fighter jet landed on Bulgarian soil, a problem was identified, which is already being resolved. This is not unusual. All air forces around the world conduct similar tests when they receive new aircraft. And if there is a problem, they resolve it," the diplomat also pointed out.
