Two Bulgarians reach the quarterfinals of the US Open Juniors Tennis Championships

Alexander Vasilev advanced to the quarterfinals at the US Open Juniors Tennis Championships, reported BTA. The No. 4 seed showed great composure and defeated Jan Kumsat (Czech Republic) 7–5, 4–6, 7–6(7). For a place in the semifinals, Alexander Vasilev will face Andrew Johnson (USA).

No 1 seed Ivan Ivanov, who won the Wimbledon boys’ title, also reached the quarterfinals after overcoming Maximus Dussault of the United States 7–6(3), 6–4. His next opponent will be Max Schönhaus (Germany).
