Bulgarian visual artist and graphic designer Radoslava Boor, who has been developing a career between Sofia and Prague for years, has been awarded the BIPB Award. The Bulgarian Embassy in South Korea announced this on its website.
The award ceremony took place on September 13 at the opening of the third edition of the International Poster Art Biennale in Seoul. The international event is dedicated to poster art and graphic design. It is organized by Gallery BI in partnership with Induk University and other academic institutions. This year's edition brought together finalists in the competition from dozens of countries, including the awarded Bulgarian artist Radoslava Boor.
The posters are presented in five categories - "Culture", "Performing Arts", "Public Issues", "Society" and "Trade" and show a wide range of author's works on topics such as ecology, social justice, identity and globalization. Many of the works feature an experimental approach to form and visual language.
The event is open to the public until the end of September at the Induk University Gallery.
