Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova: Bulgaria will not change its tax system

Bulgaria will not change its tax system or policy, said Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova in Veliko Tarnovo in relation to the conclusions from the latest regular mission of the International Monetary Fund in the country and the recommendations given.

"Taxes in Bulgaria will remain unchanged. The government has no such task, neither for this year nor for the next", Minister Petkova said, clarifying that the recommendation to introduce progressive income taxation is not being made by the IMF for the first time, BNR’s correspondent in Veliko Tarnovo Zdravka Maslyankova reported.
