Bulgaria relies on the efforts of honorary consuls from around the world to help establish new partnerships in the fields of economy, trade, innovation, education and tourism. Our country can become more visible by restoring its positions and building new collaborations at home and abroad in a dynamic geopolitical environment, President Rumen Radev said during a meeting at the Presidency with the leadership of the Association of Honorary Consuls in Bulgaria.
According to President Radev, the challenges in the global economy require strengthening the resilience of existing partnerships, as well as diversifying economic and trade relations. President Radev added that it is important for Bulgaria to renew its partnerships with countries and regions with which it has had long-standing bilateral relations. Innovation, education and tourism were highlighted as sectors with strong potential. President Radev emphasized that Bulgarian companies in high-tech and innovation sectors are extremely successful, and that Bulgaria is establishing itself as an information technology hub in Southeastern Europe.
