The capital of Bulgaria welcomes its residents and guests with a large Christmas market, located in the space of the city's emblematic National Palace of Culture.
There is no shortage
of visitors during the day, while in the evening the Christmas town
is even more charming. In the area called "Art Bazaar"
magnificent handmade gifts are offered. They are made with a lot of
imagination and bear the creative handwriting of the sellers behind
the stall.
At the market one
can also find all kinds of delicacies and drinks characteristic of
Christmas. Here, young and old can have fun on the Ferris wheel or
the colourful carousel or try their luck at the shooting range. An ice
rink attracts winter skaters.
The Christmas market
in front of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia opened on
November 21 and continues until December 28.
