''Instead of Farewell'' – the iconic duo Doni and Momchil with a new album

Doni and Momchil – the duo whose music was particularly significant at the end of the previous millennium and the beginning of the new one – left behind music hits that are still popular today. After a quarter-century-long pause, Dobrin Vekilov (Doni) and Momchil Kolev are back with a new song, "Vmesto Sbogom" (Instead of Farewell), written and composed by Doni, and a new album – "The Wings of the Prince." The album features 17 songs – the new track and 16 of their greatest hits, but with a fresh sound, presented in impressive arrangements for a symphony orchestra conducted by Konstantin Dobroikov, who also created the orchestrations.

The album is released as an interactive book, "The Wings of the Prince", authored by Doni. Each song in the album can be accessed via QR codes.

For music fans, the release of a new song is particularly exciting. Momchil says that "Instead of Goodbye" is a way to bid farewell to their audience, as the duo’s split years ago had been sudden. The song is a tribute to their loyal fans who have supported them over the years. When asked how it felt to reunite with Doni to work on new music, Momchil replied:

“Everything was just as before; nothing has changed in our relationship. ‘Instead of Goodbye’ is a song about strong friendship. We want people to remember us that way: as good friends who got along with each other over the years, which helped us create together, share our work, and perform together in the best way we are capable of.”
