“The trilateral dialogue has been restored and next week a new meeting with social partners is scheduled, at which the measures that business and trade unions propose will be discussed in order to find a balanced solution that satisfies everyone.” This was what Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova said at a briefing after a meeting with representatives of employer organizations and trade unions regarding the state budget for next year.
The
minister specified that the document has not been withdrawn, but only
the budget procedure has been postponed. “Consider this budget
withdrawn,” GERB leader Boyko Borissov said in the National
Assembly.
According
to the chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists
in Bulgaria, Kiril Domuschiev, there are many points of contact
between employers, unions and the ruling coalition so that workers
and companies can maintain their incomes and competitiveness, without
harming public sector employees or the interests of trade union
organizations.
