Seafood delights await at Varna's National Fish Festival

The National Fish Festival is taking place in Varna’s Sea Garden today, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Visitors can enjoy fresh fish, explore an exhibition of seafood products, and take part in a variety of activities. Highlights include a children’s area, the chance to board a fishing boat, games, craft demonstrations, and a lively fish-cooking show featuring TV personality Uti Bachvarov. The festival will conclude with a concert by pop singer Stefan Ilchev.

According to the Ministry, the festival aims to make the fishing sector more accessible to the public in a family-friendly way, promote its activities, expand sales opportunities, and facilitate direct contact with consumers.

The next two editions of the festival will take place on 30 November in Burgas and 5 December in Sofia.
