Cool and dry across Bulgaria, from −2° in mountains to 14°C at sea

On Tuesday, minimum temperatures will range from 1°C to 4°C, with Sofia experiencing temperatures around 0°C. During the day, there will be medium and high clouds with a chance for fog in the lowlands and around water basins before noon. Winds will be mostly calm, with light easterly breezes in the east of the country. Maximum temperatures will reach between 7°C and 12°C, around 8°C in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast, there will be scattered clouds and no precipitation. Maximum air temperatures will range from 11°C to 14°C, with sea water temperatures of 13-16°C. Sea waves will reach a height of 2 on the Beaufort scale.

In the mountains, scattered medium and high clouds are expected. The north-westerly wind will shift to the south-west and remain light to moderate. Maximum temperatures will be around 6°C at 1,200 metres and around 0°C at 2,000 metres.

On Wednesday, it will be mostly cloudy, with light rain possible in parts of western Bulgaria in the afternoon. Morning temperatures will be 2–3°C higher than on Tuesday, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged.
