Price of natural gas for December is 4.3% lower

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission has approved the price of natural gas for December at 63.01 BGN/MWh (32.22 EUR) excluding taxes. At this price, Bulgargaz will sell natural gas to end suppliers and heat distributors.

The energy regulator specifies that the price is 4.3% lower in comparison to November. The reason is the continuing decrease in the TTF pricing index on international gas exchanges, as well as the partial refusal of some customers from previously requested quantities, according to EWRC.

A year ago - in December 2024, the price of gas was 75.89 BGN/MWh (38.8 EUR).
