The Festival for Abstract Art in Motion ''Punto y Raya'' visits Sofia

The Punto y Raya Festival – the key event for abstract cinema, animation and new media – continues its international journey, which began in 2007 in Spain. Each edition of the biennale is held in a different country, having so far visited Iceland, Germany, Austria, Portugal and Poland. This year, the festival is coming to Bulgaria for the first time and will take place at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) and Cinema House in Sofia from December 3 to 7. The ninth edition of the festival is co-organized by MAD (Spain), the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts "Krastyo Sarafov" and the World Festival of Animated Film Varna (WFAF).

The Official Competition presents 99 films from 37 countries, while the Student Competition features 31 films from 12 countries.
