BNT announces how it will select the national representative for Eurovision 2026

The Bulgarian National Television (BNT) will select the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The media has selected the fifteen most broadcast singers on radio and television in 2025, BNT announced. The selection uses the "BG Top 40" ranking, also taking into account the presence of the performers on the streaming platforms Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.

"The selection aims to achieve a balance between artists with an established presence on radio and television, as well as performers with creative potential and achievements on digital music platforms," ​​ BNT said. Those accepted to participate in the national competition will participate in a show program that will be broadcast in January and February. The winner will be determined by a combined vote of the viewers and a professional jury.
