Yellow weather alert for dangerous precipitation in 16 regions

On Saturday minimum temperatures will range between 5 and 10° C., for Sofia around 6° C. Over the next 24 hours the weather will continue cloudy with rain in many parts, more significant in the mountain regions of Western and Central Bulgaria. The rain will be temporarily intensive, and there will be thunder in Southeastern Bulgaria. There will be a moderate, in the Eastern regions to strong wind from the Northeast. Maximum temperature 7-12° C, for Sofia around 7° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be clouds and rain. There will be a strong Southeasterly wind. Maximum air temperatures 13-15° C., temperature of the sea water 14-15° C., sea state 3-4.

Over the mountains the weather will be cloudy with rain, above 1,500-1,700 m. – snow. There will be significant precipitation over Mounts Rila and the Rhodopes. as well as in the Western portion of the Balkan Range and in Strandzha. There will be a moderate to strong Southeasterly wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 5° C., at 2,000 m – zero.

On Sunday the rain will gradually stop from West to East. There will be significant clouds, the wind will subside and will turn from the North. The minimum temperatures will be lower, and the daytime highs will rise by a degree or two.
