DPS–New Beginning holds rallies across Bulgaria under the motto “NO to hatred!”

“DPS–New Beginning” is organizing rallies across the country today at 18:00 under the motto “NO to hatred!”, the party’s press center announced. They state that the rallies are “against the political tension fueled by the opposition, the provocations, and the attempts to destabilize the country on the eve of the most important and final step toward full European integration – the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.”

“The state must be stable, because only then can work be done for the people and their problems addressed, and only then can they be satisfied”, the party’s leader Delyan Peevski said yesterday at a meeting with supporters in the town of Kardzhali. Rallies are planned in Veliko Tarnovo, Kardzhali, Vidin, Vratsa, Asenovgrad, Razgrad and other cities, excluding Sofia.

On Wednesday, Bulgaria’s National Assembly is expected to debate the sixth motion of no confidence against the government, submitted by We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP–DB), The Alliance for Rights and Freedoms (APS), and MECH. For the same day, PP–DB is organizing a protest in Sofia and other cities in the country calling for the “resignation of the puppet government and the permanent removal of Borissov and Peevski from power.”
