Bulgarians in Ecuador gather for “Coffee with a purpose”

A meeting titled “Coffee with a Purpose” will take place today in the Ecuadorian capital Quito, organized by the Bulgarian-Colombian foundation “Alianza”. The event is part of a series of multicultural meetings initiated by the foundation.

The gathering will be intercultural and focused on literature, announced Doris Dukova, founder and CEO of the Bulgarian-Colombian association. Participants will also become acquainted with her book “The Dark Side of Success.”

The initiative “Coffee with a Purpose” was created with the idea of holding regular meetings of the Bulgarian community in Bogotá, aiming to connect and communicate with Colombians who have studied or graduated in Bulgaria, as well as with anyone interested in studying or working in our country, BTA reported. The first meeting was held in November 2008 and, to date, more than 55 gatherings have taken place with the participation of over 300 people.
