Dani Ilieva – very personal in “Nejna ludost”

She is just 20 years old but she has more than 200 awards from national and international music competitions and festivals. 2025 brought Dani Ilieva the Grand Prix at the 30th anniversary edition of the popular FENS Festival in Koper, Slovenia and first place at Performist Fest in Istanbul, Turkey. The song “Shte celuna li” received an award for the largest listener vote from the music chart of the national radio “BNR Top 20”.

Dani Ilieva says farewell to 2025 with a new song - “Nejna ludost” (“Tender Madness”). This is an acoustic Latin pop song about the end of a great love and the strength to move forward with hope and faith. The lyrics are by the famous TV screenwriter Ivan Angelov and lecturer in public speaking Radomira Mihova. The music is by composer Eftim Chakarov and the guitar arrangement is by Svetlin Staykov from Big Band Plovdiv.

The song is accompanied by a video filmed in the Black Sea bay of Vromos. It features dancers from America, China, Ukraine, Italy, Scotland and Bulgaria. The song reached number 1 in the YouTube hype chart for Bulgaria in the first week after its release.

"This is my sixth song. It is very personal for me because it is a song about unrequited love and the path forward after experiencing separation and living with the hope that great love awaits you,” Dani Ilieva says in an interview with Radio Bulgaria.

Dani Ilieva will be a guest to vocal group "Radiokids" at the Bulgarian National Radio in their traditional Christmas matinee that will take place on December 13, at 1:00 PM in Studio 1 of the Bulgarian National Radio.

“I am about to participate in a very special Christmas celebration with the vocal group ‘Radiokids’. I am very excited because they are so talented. I can’t wait to sing together with them,” Dani Ilieva says.
