The protests are leading to an unprecedented social consolidation. The society knows exactly why it is protesting – against Boyko Borissov and Delyan Peevski, against this model of governance and against the budget. This is the conclusion of a Market Links study on the mass dissatisfaction demonstrated throughout the country. The sociological agency points out that an extremely rare unification of society is observed.

According to 82% of respondents, the protests are against the model of governance. If the elections were held today, GERB-SDS would have 17% of the votes, “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria” – 14.7%, “Vazrazhdane” – 9.3%, “DPS-New Beginning” – 9.1%, and MECH – 5.3%. Two parties from the governing coalition would have remained outside the parliament – BSP and “There is Such a People”.

The "Borissov – Peevski" model, the obvious fact that the judicial system does not work efficiently, political arrests, the over-empowerment of certain state bodies and new software for businesses designed to pressure workers - all this is considered a dividing line between the government and the people, "Market Links" also reports, BGNES informs.
