The weekend will be cold and sunny

During the night, there will be cloud and fog over the plains and clear skies over the mountains. It will be almost calm. Tomorrow, it will remain cloudy and foggy in many areas of the plains and valleys, but visibility will improve in the afternoon and the clouds will clear. The rest of the country will experience mostly sunny weather. A light to moderate north-northwesterly wind will blow across the eastern regions. Minimum temperatures will be between -3°C and 2°C, around 0°C in Sofia, and maximum temperatures between 6°C and 11°C, lower where fog persists, around 7°C in Sofia.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. There will be moderate winds from the north. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 6°C and at 2,000 metres around 0°C.

Cloud cover will increase temporarily along the Black Sea coast, peaking before noon. There will be moderate winds from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will range between 10°C and 12°C, while the sea temperature will be slightly higher at 12°C–14°C. The sea state will reach 1–2 on the Beaufort scale.

On Sunday morning, it will be mostly clear and calm with minimum temperatures between -2°C and -3°C, and down to -4°C in some valleys. There will be fog in the Danube Plain and some valleys, but visibility will quickly improve before noon with the appearance of a moderate west-northwesterly wind. Most of the country will be sunny with maximum temperatures between 7°C and 12°C.
