The romantic "Vishneva" tram stop in Borisova Gradina in Sofia has become a magical Christmas corner. A few days ago, the stop was decorated with pine branches, pine cones and warm lights, which in the evening give the place a cozy, winter atmosphere.

The history of "Vishneva" dates back to the 1930s. In 1933, the tram line was extended to the "Lozenets" district at the insistence of local residents - the new route was officially opened on December 3 of the same year by the then mayor Haralampi Oroshakov.

The festive decoration initiative is part of a broader program of the Sofia Municipality, together with "Visit Sofia" and the Sofia Public Electrical Transport Company, which covers over 50 locations in the city and 15 thematic zones for photos with Santa Claus, reindeer and holiday trees, aiming to bring a festive atmosphere to every neighborhood. Transformed into a winter fairy tale, the "Vishneva" stop this December shows that the Christmas spirit in Sofia is present not only the central squares and that the magic of the city is everywhere.
