The passing of trucks over 12 tons on the road through the Kulata - Promachonas border crossing on the Bulgarian border with Greece has been limited due to the ongoing protest by Greek farmers, the Road Infrastructure Agency announced today at 1:20 p.m. Bulgarian time. They added that the same applies to the passage of trucks through the Ilinden - Exohi border crossing.

Since the beginning of the protest actions, Greek farmers have periodically blocked traffic at the border, which forced the Minister of Transport (now in resignation) Grozdan Karadjov to address the EC with a demand for immediate measures to implement a European regulation obliging member states to guarantee the free movement of goods and prevent actions that threaten international transport.
